On Roof / Underslung

This INTAKS configuration allows roof-edge protection to be installed quickly and efficiently before or after the roof has been laid. The underslung set-up increases the range of options for your project. Suitable for steel and timber purlins.

Installation process

The install can be completed quickly, thanks to precision engineering and slotting together of components:

  1. Roof Feet, Standard Arm and Extender assembled on the ground.
  2. Roof Foot and Standard then secured to purlin with Tek screws.
  3. Extender slides into Standard Arm (does not need to be pinned). Other Roof Foot secured to purlin with Tek screws.
  4. Platform Arm Bracket and Handrail Post attached using the tool-less Lock Pin & R-Clip mechanism.
  5. Handrails secured to Handrail Posts using the tool-less Spring Clip mechanism.
  6. Complete final checks and hand over to site manager.
  7. Dismantle process is the reverse to installation.

This configuration has almost entirely aluminium components, apart from the yellow bracket and Lock Pins/R-Clips.

  • Handrail Tube (part #HR4 to HR#6)
  • Handrail Joiners/External Sleeve Couplers (part #1165/#SES)
  • Fixed 90° Couplers (part #SFC) and/or Swivel Couplers (part #SSC) – for joining handrails at corners

For each post:
